Just a short note on DMC versions: the last official release was 5.1, and there’s a still unreleased 6.0 with an efficient, short rastertime editor/player. All the so called 7.x versions are hacked 4.0 editors.
All the original DMC versions were coded by Brian/Graffity (Balázs Farkas), and as I recall the unreleased 6.0 player routine was a co-work with Matthias Hartung (The Syndrom/TIA).
Hopefully most of the Graffity stuffs will be released soon on CSDB, so keep an eye on that…
